We are Low Winter. A band from Newton Aycliffe, England, founded in late 2025 by vocalist Andy Buchanan.

 

Drawing heavily from the shadowy romance and sharp-edged energy of 80s goth and new wave, the band fuse chiming guitars, driving basslines and icy synth textures with the urgency of modern alternative rock.

 

Equal parts melancholy and momentum, Low Winter craft songs that feel like late-night streetlights and midnight dancefloors — dark, melodic, and built for turning heartache into volume.
